We are a team of warm, compassionate, and heart-centred therapists who are passionate about service
We offer an environment that is safe to acknowledge and express emotion, to explore painful memories and experiences, to challenge limiting beliefs and behaviours, and to take new action to heal and recover from grief and/or trauma of any kind. We work hard to cultivate a space that encourages vulnerability and honesty, validates emotion, and holds space for people to be fully human.
Although the therapeutic style and approach varies from therapist to therapist, what remains consistent is our belief that the common thread that connects each and every one of us, is our shared human experience of loss. We approach our work from a place of love, compassion, generosity, and non-judgment. We view the therapeutic process as collaborative and flexible in nature, always meeting our clients where they are at on their unique journey of healing and recovery.
We perceive our clients as strong, courageous, intuitive, and dynamic, and we believe that with the correct set of tools and actions, our clients can truly overcome any barriers inhibiting their capacities for peace, comfort, and joy.
Our team of Edmonton psychologists and therapists work with a variety of individuals of various ages, genders, cultures, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and abilities. SOMATIC THERAPY
Somatic Therapy is a body-based approach to healing that focuses on the connection between mind and body. Working with body awareness and underlying physical sensations helps to transform grief and trauma through healing painful memories, experiences, and emotions that become stored in the body. Somatic therapies can help promote healing of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, attachment concerns, and more.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR therapy is an eight-phase treatment approach to helping people heal and recover from the emotional, psychological, and physical distress caused by grief or trauma by desensitizing and reprocessing the distressing life event or experience. It involves the use of 'bilateral stimulation’ which is brought about by side-to-side eye movement, tapping, or rhythmic sound. This structured therapy quickly alleviates painful symptoms.
