COUPLES & FAMILY

We understand that relationship and interpersonal difficulties can have an enormous impact on our well-being, our emotions, and the way we function within our lives

We have extensive experience addressing these issues in couples and family therapy. We are particularly passionate about supporting couples and families through loss and helping couples and families create a secure attachment as a foundation for wellness.

We strongly believe that our connection and attachment to one another, when healthy and secure, is one of the most important factors for emotional, relational, and psychological health. Our approach to couples and family therapy uses attachment theory at the core, and may utilize other methodologies as an adjunct to the therapy process.

We utilize several systemic methodologies to meet the unique needs of couples and families, including solution-focused, emotionally-focused, cognitive-behavioural, and Gottman-method approaches. We work hard to create a safe and collaborate space for all involved in the therapy process to encourage trust, emotional safety, and the feeling of being seen and heard.

We support couples and families through a range of concerns and circumstances including
